What it is
One Big Guide is a free-first store for AI skills. Every guide is free to read. When you sign up, the guide hands over the actual working prompt and the Claude skill that goes with it, so you leave with something you can run, not just something you read.
The promise is on the homepage: read the guide, copy the prompt, ship the work. Each guide takes one real marketing job, from your first MCP connectors to writing content or getting found in AI search, and gives you the exact tools to do it.
The problem it solves
Most AI content stops at inspiration. You read a thread, nod along, and still have nothing to run on Monday. The gap is rarely knowledge, it is the last mile: the exact prompt, the skill, the setup. One Big Guide closes that gap. The guide is free, and the working parts come with it instead of being locked behind a paywall.
For teams, the same structure becomes a way to close skills gaps. Instead of generic training, people learn a specific workflow and walk away with the tool that does it.
Why I built it
I run free AI Power Users meetups in Singapore, and the same question came up after every session: where do I get the exact prompt you just used? I wanted one place that was free to read, easy to find, and that handed over the working parts rather than gatekeeping them.
How it was built
Built with Claude Code, like everything else I ship. The site runs on Next.js, deployed to Cloudflare on the OpenNext adapter, with Supabase handling accounts and magic-link sign-in. Each guide is one folder: the written lesson, the prompt, the skill, and its assets. Adding content is a matter of dropping in a folder, not touching the app.
SEO and GEO came first, not last. The aim is for a guide to be the thing Google and ChatGPT surface when someone asks how to do a specific AI workflow, and for that guide to hand over the prompt and skill on the spot.
Come to a free AI Power Users meetup, or read the guides if you want to see how I build with Claude Code.
